About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team at 0731048 MANITOBA LTD. As a MIG welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Utilize CAD software to design and create welding plans.
  • Material Handling: Work with various types of materials, including aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and steel, iron, and heavy metals.
  • Custom Fabrication: Specialize in custom fabrication, creating unique and complex welds.
Work Environment

As a MIG welder at 0731048 MANITOBA LTD, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs). You will also be responsible for wearing steel-toed safety boots and a welding helmet.

Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in MIG welding.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and organized.
