At Inspiretci, we are seeking an experienced Aerospace Estimator - Inventory Specialist to join our team in Vaughan, ON. This is a full-time on-site job opportunity where you will play a critical role in supporting our Cost Accounting Manager with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, global standard costing, and project-related tasks.
About the RoleThis position requires someone with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly inventory reports, updating standard costs, verifying bill of material costs, and conducting variance analysis for manufacturing sites. Additionally, you will assist with annual physical inventory processes, monitor cycle count activity, and investigate discrepancies in inventory transactions.
Responsibilities- Inventory Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly inventory reports to stakeholders.
- Standard Cost Updates: Responsible for updating standard costs, verifying bill of material costs, and conducting variance analysis for manufacturing sites.
- Physical Inventory and Cycle Counting: Assist with the facilitation and planning of annual physical inventory processes and monitor the processing of weekly/monthly cycle count activity.
- Audit Support: Responsible for audit requests related to inventory observations, shipping and receiving cutoffs, and price testing for all inventory sites.
- Special Projects: Assist with special projects, reporting initiatives, and requests from internal business partners.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- Preferred 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or similar production environment.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products required; experience with J.D. Edwards or other large ERP systems is a plus.
- Manufacturing Industry experience is a plus.
- Timely preparation and distribution of monthly inventory reports.
- Accurate standard cost updates and bill of material cost verifications.
- Successful completion of annual physical inventory processes and cycle count activities.
- Effective resolution of audit requests and inventory discrepancies.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time off policy.
