At Dynacare, we're seeking a skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our Core Lab team in Brampton, Ontario. This full-time position requires a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) with experience in chemistry and laboratory settings.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality testing results using the latest technology. As a Laboratory Scientist, you'll be working closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely results are provided to physicians and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine testing duties within Chemistry, including analyzer maintenance, calibration, quality control, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure sample identification is correct and specimen requirements are met according to established procedures.
  • Record, interpret, and/or approve test results.
  • Investigate missing samples and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A CMLTO Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Solid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Working experience in the Chemistry field is an asset.
