The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project management at Aiolos. This includes ensuring that project managers are successful in completing their projects on time and within budget, meeting contractual requirements, and providing excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Office (PMO) Leadership: Overall responsibility for PMO functionality within the company, ensuring seamless project execution and efficient resource allocation.
  • Project Oversight: Takes ownership of projects from startup to final client handover, guaranteeing timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Project System Ownership: Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Aiolos Project Management System, streamlining procedures, and optimizing workflows.
  • Best Practices Identification: Continuously identifies and implements best practices in project management, ensuring Aiolos stays competitive.
  • Proactive Approach: Develops and executes a forward-thinking strategy to create a competitive advantage for Aiolos.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversees multiple projects with varying priorities, ensuring effective workload management and efficient resource allocation.
  • Workload Management: Manages workloads within and between projects, maximizing team productivity and efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Leads project reporting to the management team, providing comprehensive financial and operational insights.
  • Team Development: Develops and coaches project managers, including mentoring junior team members, to ensure continuous improvement and growth.
  • Relationship Building: Establishes and maintains strong relationships with team members, peers, clients, suppliers, and industry professionals.
  • Risk Mitigation: Anticipates potential problems and develops contingency plans to minimize risks and ensure project success.
  • Business Development Support: Collaborates with the Business Development group to define scope and establish cost estimates for proposal activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in industries involving custom engineering equipment design and industrial construction.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Manager of Project Management.
  • 5-12 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • PMP designation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Focused on goals and objectives, with the ability to establish strategies to achieve them.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful.
  • Above-average critical thinking skills.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
