Job Title: Labourer, Construction

Chatsworth Fine Homes is seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team for a temporary position. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own vehicle
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physically demanding work
