About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager at Sherwin-Williams plays a crucial part in driving sales and optimizing profitability in our paint stores. This role involves supporting the store manager in organizing and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive Sales and Revenue Growth
  2. Deliver Exceptional Customer Service
  3. Build and Maintain Product Knowledge
  4. Develop and Maintain Positive Customer Relationships
  5. Complete Store Administration Tasks
  6. Ensure Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures
  7. Maintain Store Condition and Visual Merchandising Standards
  8. Support Employee Training and Development
  9. Respond to Customer and Employee Complaints
  10. Partner with Store Manager to Make Outside Sales Calls

Requirements

  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
  2. Valid Driver's License
  3. Ability to Lift and Carry Up to 50 Pounds Frequently

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 1 Year of Experience in Retail, Sales, or Customer Service
  2. 1 Year of Experience in a Leadership Role or Supervising Others
  3. Previous Experience Selling Paint and Paint-Related Products
  4. Experience Using Timekeeping and CRM Systems
  5. Associate Degree or Higher in Business, Sales, or Marketing
  6. Ability to Read, Write, Comprehend, and Communicate in More Than One Language
