Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Les Residences Unique Sherbrooke 2023. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of physical fitness due to the demands of the job. You will be working closely with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Providing basic care and support to patients, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance
  • Assisting medical professionals with procedures and exams
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Certificate in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or equivalent
  • A Certificate in CPR or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • The ability to maintain a high level of physical fitness
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull equipment as needed.

Benefits

Location

This role is based in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. You must be willing to work on-site and not remotely.
