At Germain Hôtels, we're looking for a skilled Payroll Technician to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all company sites, ensuring accuracy and compliance with collective agreements and provincial labour standards.
  • Manage employee files, including time management and payroll systems, and validate electronic timesheets before importing them into the payroll system.
  • Answer questions from employees and managers concerning payroll, and provide support in all other payroll-related tasks.
  • Generate various reports according to internal needs, and follow up on study and work permits.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in accounting or related discipline.
  • 1 to 2 years' relevant experience.
  • Spoken and written languages: French (advanced) and English (intermediate).
  • Knowledge of UKG, Microsoft office, an asset.
  • Be a member of the National Payroll Institute (NPI), an asset.
