Academic Instructor

Ontario Tech University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sessional Lecturer to teach in the Health Sciences program.
Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver high-quality course material and assessments for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Utilize technology-enhanced learning approaches, including Canvas and Kaltura Media, to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage large classes and diverse populations, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building with students, faculty, and staff.
- Coordinate and supervise Teaching Assistants as applicable.
- Prepare and deliver course materials, assignments, and exams, and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant area of Health Sciences.
- PhD preferred.
- Member in good standing as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
- Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated teaching excellence experiences in Health Sciences in a post-secondary environment.
