Database Administrator Role at Resonaite

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Architect to join our team in North Bay. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration and data management.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. Our company, Resonaite, offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based databases and systems in a geographically distributed environment.
  • Develop and maintain Data Integration and Data Warehouse solutions, including data modeling, profiling, and cleansing.
  • Collaborate with vendors to enable integration across disparate systems of data interfaces.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance by fine-tuning, testing, and debugging various aspects.
  • Install, configure, and maintain server software and database servers, monitoring system health and security.
  • Manage database user accounts, permissions, and security levels.
  • Assist with capacity planning to ensure databases and applications can accommodate existing and future data and user loads.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Establish and enforce security measures, access controls, and encryption protocols to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in database administration and data management.
  • Experience contributing to the implementation of Data Architecture and Data Management roadmap with a cloud-first strategy.
  • Expertise in MS SQL, Azure SQL, and cloud-based Data Platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
  • Experience with application integration through data interfaces.
  • Business intelligence and data analytics skills with tools like PowerBI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
