We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Saint Germain Bakery (Toronto) Ltd. in Toronto, Canada.
Job SummaryThe Baker will be responsible for preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as baking mixed dough and batters. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Draw up production schedules
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Attention to detail
