Kitchen Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Head Cook to join our team at Shah Hospitality Ltd. O/A Punjaabi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Kitchen Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintenance and Organization: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Culinary Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a cook or equivalent position in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a generous paid time off policy.
