Radiologist Position for Comox Valley and Campbell River

Island Health is a leading healthcare provider in the North Island region, seeking a highly skilled General Radiologist to join our medical imaging team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various radiological procedures including CT, MRI, US, DR, Fluoroscopy, breast imaging, and basic non-vascular interventional procedures at both Comox Valley and Campbell River hospitals.
This permanent specialty position offers a competitive salary of approximately $300,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits. Benefits include:
- Recruitment Incentive: up to $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
- Relocation: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Fee Premium 6.93%
- Annual Flat Fee $10,152
- CME payments of $2,500 in years 3 and 4 and $5,000 after 4 years

The Comox Valley Airport offers daily non-stop flights to/from Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver, plus seasonal service to Mexico, while Campbell River has a municipal airport with regular daily flights between Vancouver and the island.
To be eligible for this role, candidates must hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Radiology and full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
