About the Role

We are seeking a responsible and caring individual to join our private household as a live-in caregiver. This is a temporary opportunity that requires a high level of dedication and commitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, planning meals and snacks for the family.
  • Travel with the family on trips, providing childcare and housekeeping support during this time.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by their parents, promoting positive behavior and social development.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social skills, helping them develop into confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
  • Organize activities such as games, outings, and educational pursuits for the children, stimulating their minds and bodies.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing emotional support and guidance as needed.
  • Take children to and from school, appointments, and other activities, ensuring their timely arrival and departure.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and reassurance when needed.
  • Assist children with homework and other educational tasks, helping them develop a love of learning.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certificate or diploma in early childhood education or a related field.
  • First aid and CPR certification, with experience in emergency child care situations.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and adults.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Working Conditions
  • Physically demanding role, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
  • Repetitive tasks, including cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  • Weight handling: up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
