Critical Care Paramedic

Ornge is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Paramedic to join our team. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing emergency medical care to patients in critical condition.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and Treat Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients in critical condition to determine the extent of their injuries or illnesses and provide emergency medical treatment as needed.
- Transport Patients: Safely transport patients to hospital or other medical facilities for further medical care.
- Document and Record: Accurately document and record the nature of injuries and treatment provided to patients.
- Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Ensure that ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies are properly maintained and up-to-date.
- Accurate and Reliable: Possess excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and reliability.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced emergency medical environment.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
