  • Evaluate daily operations and implement cost-saving measures
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost and adjust staffing levels accordingly
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including setting staff work schedules and supervising staff
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Leading/instructing individuals to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage events and ensure smooth execution

Supervision: The successful candidate will supervise 3-4 people and work a permanent schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. Work language is English.
