We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team at 5AAB CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Supervise other workers to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in carpentry is an asset.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Excellent client focus and team player skills.
This is a permanent position with a 35 to 40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
