IT Audit and Risk Specialist

We are seeking a Senior IT Audit Consultant to join our Technology Risk team at Stir Consulting Inc. for a 3-month contract. This role involves supporting financial services clients with IT risk reviews, technology advisory services, and IT internal audit support.
Key Responsibilities:- IT Audits: Conduct both internal and external IT audits, focusing on IT General Controls (ITGC) and performing Tests of Design and Operating Effectiveness.
- Information Security Assessments: Support information security assessments, including cyber maturity, ISO audits, and incident management reviews.
- Risk and Control Matrices: Develop and review risk and control matrices, alongside business process controls.
- Engagement Management: Manage quality assurance, engagement planning, monitoring, and profitability across multiple client engagements.
- Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters in Business, IT, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, or ISO 27001 are preferred.
- Experience: 4 - 5 years in IT or business process risk assessment, ideally in a large consulting environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT General Controls, security controls, and experience with audits (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Industry Experience: Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

- Excellent communication, with clear written and oral expression
- Attention to detail and ability to manage business and audit risks effectively
