Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Various locations across the province.As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and assist patients in rehabilitation. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for working in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by physical therapists, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
- Help patients with exercises, stretches, and rehabilitation activities, promoting their overall well-being and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising therapist, ensuring that treatment plans are adjusted as needed.
- Educate patients on exercises and self-care techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program, demonstrating a strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices.
- State licensure or certification as a physical therapy assistant, ensuring that you meet the necessary standards for practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, collaborating with others to deliver high-quality patient care.
