Job Summary

We are seeking a Restaurant Operations Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTONS. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Hiring and Management: Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Language: English.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent standing, bending, and walking. The work schedule is 30 hours per week, with free parking available.
