Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Ground Ramp Agent to join our team at AGI Canadian Company. As a Ground Ramp Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, passengers, and cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft to ensure safety and security.
  • Load and unload cargo and baggage from aircraft, using manual and mechanical equipment.
  • Operate ground support equipment, such as tugs and belt loaders, to facilitate aircraft movement.
  • Communicate effectively with flight crew, ground crew, and other stakeholders to coordinate aircraft movements and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in regular safety training and drills to maintain a high level of situational awareness and response to emergency situations.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in aviation or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Authorization to work in Canada required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as work in cramped or high places.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and around jet and machinery noises.
