BenchSci is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge preclinical generative AI software within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute tailored technical AI sales strategies for each customer, including architecture drawings and customized presentations.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across various departments within pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations highlighting the technical value and competitive advantages of BenchSci's AI software.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive successful outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Provide technical training and understanding to internal customer-facing teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven success selling complex software solutions to life science and pharmaceutical clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Experience selling enterprise software, ERP, or procurement solutions is a plus.
  • Technical certifications in AI or Data Science are a plus.
  • Internal candidates are eligible for this role after three years of experience beating targets.
  • Experience selling into pharma is a must-have.
