Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Surplus Electrical Equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Planning: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer demands.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and operational performance.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing technical advice.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including establishing work schedules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or operations management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
