Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, prepare and submit reports.
  • Culinary Expertise: Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, establish work schedules.
  • Employee Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, Indigenous people, and youth.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position, 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
