About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tahinis Mediterranean Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train new staff members in their job duties, as well as our high standards for sanitation and safety.
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies to ensure we have everything we need for meal preparation.
  • Monitor the quality of our food and service, making adjustments as necessary to meet our high standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
