Salary

$50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Leasing Agent at Accommod8u, you will be the first point of contact with prospective tenants. Your role involves providing prospects with the best fitting housing options, answering questions throughout the process, and securing the deal by guiding them through the lease signing process.

You will meet the prospective tenant's housing needs and provide solutions while promoting Accommod8u's values.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Greet prospective tenants, answer their inquiries, and conduct property tours to show suites.
  • Educate customers on the signing process and facilitate signing and the completion of a strong leasing application.
  • Ensure all prospects leave the property with thorough knowledge of property benefits, availability, and leasing process if unable to sign a contract at that time.

Administrative

  • Be the first point of contact for customer service matters, including fielding calls and email inquiries.
  • Ensure completion from lead to lease of all accounts, following up to collect any outstanding documentation.
  • Manage your pipeline of leads, opportunities, and applicants, and related appointment bookings (meetings, calls, property tours).

Operational Support

  • Act as a business partner to leadership by assisting other departments resolve complex challenges.
  • Report any problems related to tenant rent payment, property maintenance, and any corrections for external communications, contracts, or notices to appropriate department manager.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree preferred.
  • 1+ year experience in residential leasing or property management industry.
  • Reliably walk or drive between properties as needed.
  • Social media or online marketing experience an asset.
  • Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service role an asset.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Experience using Yardi Voyager or a similar CRM.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
