Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality and presentation standards.
• Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take corrective action as necessary.
• Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
• Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our operational needs.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following all relevant health and safety protocols.

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Language: English.
• Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
