Primary Teacher

School District No. 6 (Rocky Mountain) is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join our team.

• Hold or be eligible for a BC Teaching Certificate
• Have a university teaching major or equivalent directly related to the teaching position
• Have successful teaching experience at the appropriate school level and teaching subject area(s)
• Commit to and demonstrate capacity for collaboration to meet the needs of all students
• Develop and implement effective assessment and instructional practices to meet diverse learning needs
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
• Utilize excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of current technology
• Collaborate with district staff to promote positive mental health and social and emotional wellbeing

• BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility
• University teaching major or equivalent
• Successful teaching experience

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of current technology
