We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at GAV MGMT. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and timely quotes for audio video installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze architectural plans and specifications to determine the type and quantity of materials required.
  • Establish take-offs and material breakdown sheets to ensure cost-effective and profitable quotes.
  • Formulate accurate and detailed quotes for project design material, utilizing knowledge of standard company pricing and estimating formulas.
  • Process revisions and change orders as required, while maintaining effective communication with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Confer with the Drafting Team on changes and adjustments to quotes and orders.
  • Partner with the Project Management team on adjustments to quotes on awarded projects.

Requirements:

  • One or more years of experience in the A/V field, with a post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Proficient with estimating software, MS Excel, and other MS Office programs.
  • Demonstrated experience reading architectural designs, schedules, and take-offs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building effective relationships with clients and team members.
