We're looking for a talented Cloud Automation Specialist to join our dev team and help us shape the modern world. Our projects are at the core of our organization, and our dev team is 100% remote.


The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration. Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation is a must. Strong working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting is also required.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage Kubernetes platforms, deploying microservices and other web applications.
  • Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, or Saltstack.
  • Work with source control systems like Git and collaborate with distributed teams.
  • Develop and deploy demo web apps to prove general IT/DevOps proficiency.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, including CloudTrail, AWS Organizations, EC2, ECS, EKS, Elasticache, IAM, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, Route53, and S3.
  • Experience with Docker and deploying microservices.
  • Ability to work well with people from various disciplines.
  • Perform root cause analysis in AWS environments and debug microservices using Cloudwatch or related monitoring products.
  • Comfortable being part of the On-Call rotation.
  • This is a part-time/hourly position with the option to go full-time after 3 months.
