About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Professional to join our team at Trust N Ride Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up Services: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring prompt and secure transportation.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Preparation and Restocking: Prepare, package, and restock goods as required, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from vehicles, taking care to ensure safe and efficient handling.
  • Package Sorting: Sort packages for delivery, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
  • Navigation and Route Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to navigate routes and ensure efficient delivery.
  • Payment and Receipt: Process payments for goods and services, ensuring accurate and secure transactions.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet company standards.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 35-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
