Job Description
This role is a key part of our residential community, where we strive to provide exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Maintenance Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our premises, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with tasks and services related to their daily lives, ensuring their comfort and well-being
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, repairs, and inspections, to ensure the premises are safe and well-maintained
- Monitor and maintain equipment, including mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, pumps, furnaces, valves, and more
- Manage apartment renovations and make minor repairs as needed, ensuring a high standard of quality and attention to detail
- Organize and perform other tasks related to the maintenance department, as required by your supervisor
Requirements
- 1 year of relevant experience in maintenance or a related field will be considered an asset
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents and colleagues
- Knowledge of retirement homes and a strong understanding of the needs and expectations of our residents
