Heavy Truck Specifications Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specification Specialist to join our team at Brandt. As a key member of our sales and service departments, you will play a crucial role in developing, writing, and maintaining accurate specifications for Peterbilt trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with sales and service teams to clarify technical specifications and provide support on documentation-related inquiries.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring specifications are tailored to their application.
- Maintain consistency in terminology and formatting across all specification documentation.
- Optimize functional specifications with preferred Body Builders to enhance competitiveness while adhering to best practices in technical writing.
- Regularly update specifications in line with product changes, industry regulations, and corporate spec change orders.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure sales staff have access to necessary resources and knowledge of specifications.
- Review and edit existing specifications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical spec writing, preferably within the automotive or heavy truck industry.
- Strong understanding of heavy truck systems, specifications, and mechanical principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite).
