Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at DESI BAR LTD. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions and handle customer payments.
  • Process Payments: Handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues.
  • Assist with Self-Checkout: Help customers with self-checkout and resolve any issues.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Participate in in-store promotions and events.
  • Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling restricted products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
