The City of St. Albert is seeking a highly skilled Off-Site Levy Specialist to join its Engineering Services department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the City's complex Off-Site Levy program, ensuring accurate levy collection and updating the OSL model annually.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the City's Off-Site Levy program by collecting and tracking accurate information while updating the OSL model annually and reporting updates to Council and the development community.
  • Preparing development agreements and ensuring accurate calculation, tracking, and recording of off-site levies. Reviewing construction cost estimates for levy offsets, managing development agreement templates, and coordinating with front-ending parties to ensure compliance with City policies and bylaws.
  • Investigating the addition of new levy categories to the City's Off-Site Levy Bylaw, exploring cost-sharing and alternative funding options for infrastructure projects, and developing new policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience working with municipal policies and the Municipal Government Act (MGA). Familiarity with the Corvus model and technical knowledge of OSL-related engineering issues are essential.
