Job Title: General Practitioner

Join our team at Deer Ridge Family Clinic as a General Practitioner and play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, from routine check-ups to managing chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals to identify diseases and injuries.
  • Examine patients' health condition to identify diseases and injuries and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
  • Participate in health care policy and planning to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).
  • Eligible for professional liability insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
