About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our cardiology department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with heart conditions, as well as conducting medical research and developing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
  • Conduct medical research to improve treatment options and outcomes for patients with heart disease.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with heart conditions, including medication, surgery, and other interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in cardiology.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Completion of a cardiology fellowship program.
  • Board certification in cardiology.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Ontario.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
