About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Delmar International Inc. As a key member of our brokerage team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth clearance of shipments and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to set up processes for both the brokerage team and the client, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Analyze data to enhance the brokerage team's and our client's service, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Respond to client inquiries, including billing and shipment-related matters, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Update data in Salesforce and coordinate with assigned departments regarding client cases, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Monitor daily operations and report key information to assigned managers, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service activities related to customs services.
  • College degree in International Transportation & Customs or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Canadian customs regulations and trade processes is an asset.
  • Experience in CargoWise One system or related brokerage systems is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • CCS designation is an asset.
