Project Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at Alltrade Industrial Contractors. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our project managers and project superintendents on renewable and automotive construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend project meetings and assist with determining project requirements
  • Support the project manager with drafting and issuing project proposals, RFPs, tenders, budgets, and cash flows
  • Chair project meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
  • Track project progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines and trades
  • Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans, work hours, budgets, and performance
  • Maintain logs for change orders, RFI, submittals, action items, and risks
  • Effectively communicate project information to clients and project teams
  • Ensure client needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Track and manage change notice and change order documents
  • Communicate ideas for improving project processes and promote a continuous improvement culture
  • Keep project managers and stakeholders informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
  • Participate in problem resolution and risk mitigation initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience related to project coordination duties
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized university or equivalent experience
  • Experience with renewable energy (solar or BESS) is an asset
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, or P6
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and concepts
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and individually
  • Willingness to work on various project sites across Ontario
