About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Flamos Peri Peri Chicken. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to train and supervise staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish effective work schedules to meet customer demand and maintain a high level of service quality.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner to ensure minimal waste and optimal stock levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English, with a strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
