Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at CARA ALEXA CALUCAG. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering a sense of independence and confidence.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, encouraging physical and mental growth.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring children receive a balanced diet.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing emotional support and comfort when needed.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Help children with homework, promoting academic success and development.
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and reference required.
  • Public transportation available.
Work Environment:

Our home-based work environment is non-smoking, ensuring a healthy and safe space for children and caregivers alike.

Work Setting:

As a Child Caregiver, you will work in the employer's home, providing one-on-one care and support to children.

Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on child care and development.

Please note that this is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The language of work is English.
