About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Business Development Manager to join our team at Novo Nordisk.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their sales skills and make a real impact in the pharmaceutical industry.

Job Description

The Sales Business Development Manager will be responsible for promoting NNCI products and developing strategic business relationships with Endocrinologists, Primary care physicians and other targeted specialists.

You will represent Novo Nordisk to selected key diabetes/academic centers and large community/teaching hospitals as a leader in the diabetes care market.

Your main objective will be to drive sales results with target audiences, analyze sales data, and customize sales calls addressing opportunities with and needs of targeted healthcare providers.

You will also organize and conduct product education sessions within budgetary guidelines and liaise with Pharmacists and community hospitals to ensure proper and optimal product usage.

Additionally, you will attend conferences, symposiums and seminars to promote company products and provide current information to customers, as well as to obtain and share market information when appropriate.

You will demonstrate leadership at National Sales meetings, District meetings and training programs and manage territory CHE and sample budgets.

You may be called upon by district and head office to implement or lead regional initiatives and participate in cross-functional teams as requested.

You will take on a mentorship role for new hires or other colleagues requiring assistance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree or business qualifications
  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical experience

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
