About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Supervisor to join our team at St. Louis Bar and Grill.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in essential job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and secure working environment.
  • Analyze ingredient and supply requirements to optimize meal preparation and minimize waste.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive budgets and cost estimates for menu items, supplies, and labor costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Create and manage work schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels and productivity.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in restaurant operations or a related field.
  • Certificate or diploma from a college, CEGEP, or other non-university program (1-2 years).
  • Equivalent experience and skills may be considered.

Work Environment:

  • Permanent position
  • 30 hours per week
  • Public transportation available
  • Work language: English

Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $45,000-$60,000 per year.
