To be considered, you'll need a valid tool and die maker license for the Province of Ontario and experience as a toolmaker in an automotive stamping and welding facility.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise the tool room and ensure that the toolmakers are working on the most critical tasks
  • Solve toolmaker issues when they arise
  • Direct continuous improvement programs in the tool room
  • Ensure that apprentices and toolmakers are improving their skill levels
  • Supervise, coordinate and prioritize the projects and workload of the department.
  • Ensure projects are finished correctly and on time

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 (three) years of work experience in an automotive stamping facility, with a proven track record of repairing progressive and transfer dies and working in an IATF 16949 certified facility.
