Job Summary

Confederation College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Supervisor Health and Wellness. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of fitness and wellness programs, as well as the supervision of staff and coordination of partnerships with external organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs that align with the college's strategic goals
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high-quality program delivery
  • Coordinate partnerships with external organizations to enhance program offerings
  • Manage risk mitigation measures to ensure a safe environment for all users
  • Provide creative and innovative leadership to broaden the student's educational experience
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-year diploma/degree in a related field, such as Sport Management, Kinesiology, or Education
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a fitness-related facility
  • Proven track record in fitness and recreation program growth and development
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree in a related field
  • Additional experience in wellness programming, human resource management, and financial management
  • Thorough knowledge of the fitness and wellness industry
