About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Long Lake Landscape Group Inc. as a General Construction Labourer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and grading surfaces.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as cranes, excavators, and forklifts.
  • Site Maintenance: Clean and maintain construction sites, including removing rubble and debris.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and ear plugs.
Work Environment

Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including dusty environments.
