Job Requirements

For this Clinical Lead role in Child and Youth Mental Health Services, we are looking for a highly qualified professional with a Master's Degree in Social Work and current practicing registration with the BC College of Social Work. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of recent related experience in leadership and/or supervision, as well as recognized post-basic education related to mental illness, addictions, and concurrent disorders.

In addition to these qualifications, the successful candidate will have a valid British Columbia Driver's license and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

The Clinical Lead will be responsible for leading an interdisciplinary team and will have the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and plan, organize, and evaluate patient/client/resident care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients/clients/residents.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective care delivery.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  4. Assess learning needs of patients/clients/residents and develop educational plans.
  5. Provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve performance.
