As a dynamic and forward-thinking operations supervisor at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in driving success at our eastern Ontario location. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in gaming/casino management to lead our operations team at Shorelines Casino Belleville.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop team members. They will be responsible for assisting with the planning and directing of site operations, providing authorization and immediate leadership to staff operating in Cage, Slot and Guest Services roles on a shift-to-shift basis. Our Operations Supervisor ensures adherence to all policies and procedures; identifies and implements recommendations to increase operational effectiveness and compliance, and enhances the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create an engaged work environment by promoting positivity, recognizing excellent performance, and caring about and supporting team members every day.
  • Oversee the Cage, Slots and Guest Services department and any applicable sign-offs within this scope, during their shift.
  • Provide leadership, direction, mentoring, and performance management to the Cage, Slots and Guest Services departments or as assigned in the absence of an Operations Manager, while providing continuous coaching for success to achieve high performance.
  • Assist in the implementation of departmental strategic plans.
  • De-escalate and address guest concerns effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze team member productivity, work skills, and behaviors.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, management, team members, and regulators.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
  • Report irregularities and suspicious activities - financial or otherwise; review and prepare incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance of designated departments with policy and procedure, legislation, health and safety, and other statutory regulations and programs including the AGCO.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 to $80,000 per annum, based on experience, to support your professional growth and well-being.
