Job Description

Juzkiw Law PC is seeking an organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant to support our team. As an administrative assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information, including opening and distributing mail and other materials.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and conferences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems.
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents.
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and financial statement preparation.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with PCLaw in the Cloud and other legal software.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, 30-hour-per-week position. The work environment is fast-paced, with tight deadlines and a large caseload. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and prioritize tasks effectively.
