About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Jakes Grill & Oyster House Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety standards.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a physically demanding environment, and meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen.
